I was recently flipping through a magazine and an advertisement for See's Candies caught my eye, particularly the gourmet-style lolly-pops. After reaching out to See's Candies, my family and I were fortunate to be able to select some delectable looking treats to sample and review!
In my house, my daughter and I are the "sweet tooths" - my husband has sweets on occasion but usually with a large cup of coffee to balance the sweet taste!
Since See's Candies is famous for the Lolly-Pops, I had to try them out myself - I ordered the assorted Lolly-Pops in a small box, the assorted Little-Pops (which are individually wrapped bite-size lolly-pops) and See's Famous Toffee-ettes!!
The Lolly-Pops are sinful are made with heavy cream, butter, and genuine flavors of real Vanilla, Butterscotch, Chocolate, and Café Latté. My favorite hands down was the Café Latté which had a fabulous coffee taste to it (a grown up Lolly-Pop if you will). My 9 yr old's favorites were the Butterscotch and Chocolate!
I love the Little-Pops - they are "portable" Lolly-Pops without any fuss or mess. I love that they are individually wrapped so I can stash them in my purse and enjoy them anytime I want!
I love Toffee - it is one of my favorite sweet treats - I love the caramel-buttery taste combined with the crunch toffee holds!! See's Candy Toffee-ettes are outstanding. Even my husband who isn't that big into sweets got into the container and popped one after another into his mouth with his cup of coffee. The Toffee-ettes consist of Danish butter toffee with whole almonds are smothered in See's creamy
milk chocolate, then covered with bits of toasted almonds. YUMMY!! They melt in your mouth!
With Christmas less than 100 days away, See's Candies would made an excellent gift for family and friends across the US if you don't have one of their locations near you.
