The Gruffalo's Child, Noodle & Doodle, Dino Dan & WordWorld DVD REVIEW & GIVEAWAY - 4 DVDS!

Our friends at NCircle Entertainment sent us out FOUR amazing children's DVDs in celebration of our kids being back to school! 

My daughter Rose is tinkled pink that she gets to review these movies and takes her "job" very seriously - she tells me a movie synopsis, what she likes and maybe didn't like and more! 

Below you will find summaries of these 4 awesome DVDs from their press releases.

The Gruffalo's Child 
The Gruffalo’s Child is based on the companion book written by Julia Donaldson and illustrated by Axel Scheffler.  The Gruffalo tells his child an extraordinary story of “The Big Bad Mouse,” warning her never to go in the woods alone because there is a terrible creature lurking there.  Waiting until her father falls asleep, The Gruffalo’s Child sneaks out into the deep dark woods to see The Big Bad Mouse for herself.  Along the way she runs into a snake, an owl, and a fox and discovers that while they have similar features to The Big Bad Mouse, they are, in fact, not him.  Just as she is about to give up her search, she stumbles upon a tiny mouse. Cautious of her, the mouse listens to what The Gruffalo’s Child is looking for, and then decides to reveal his big bad secret!

 

Noodle and Doodle: Noodly Things to Make

Encourage your child’s sense of creativity with fun craft projects and kid-friendly recipes that families can make together.  Join Sean and his friends Noodle and Doodle as they use everyday household items to craft, cook and play! Also along for the ride is Sean’s dog Doggity who cooks up five special treats.  All aboard the Noodle and Doodle bus!

 

Dino Dan: Where the Dinosaurs Are

Follow the adventures of paleontologist-in-training Dan Henderson as he imagines dinosaurs into the real world!  Join Dan as he teaches a baby Triceratops defensive moves to help it get around a meat-eating Spinosaurus!  Then find out why the T-rex has such small arms when Dan and his friends embark on a sleepover adventure at the famous Royal Ontario Museum.  Tour the museum and learn about real fossil skeletons, from the Stegosaurus to the Tyrannosaurus rex. But then the visit quickly turns into mayhem when some sneaky dinosaurs steal a T-rex claw from the museum!  Will Dan be able to get the T-rex claw back before sunrise?  Join the adventure in Where the Dinosaurs Are!

WordWorld: To the Rescue

In To the Rescue, Duck and Fly learn how to be firefighters just like their friend, Firefighter Frog.  To be firefighters, the gang has to keep a lookout for any signs of smoke in WordWorld, because where there’s smoke, there’s fire.  Will Duck and Fly be able to determine what’s really smoke and what’s not?   Young viewers can learn all about fire safety with their WordWorld buddies.

Rose enjoyed all the movies, of course - I don't think she has watched a movie she didn't enjoy! She is almost 10 but still loves watching shows such as WordWorld - which she has watched since it first arrived on TV! The Gruffalo's Child was her favorite! I told her that there is the original Gruffalo movie and now guess whose job it is to find that movie for her to watch? My job LOL!!
