ZEVIA Soda Review & Giveaway

As I have been shopping more and more in the natural and organic foods section I recently noticed Zevia on the store shelves at our local Kroger! I reached out to Zevia about doing a review of their sodas and they sent us a mixed flavors 6-pack of Zevia Natural Sodas to review. 

We put them straight into the fridge and then tried them for the first time that evening with dinner. I heeded the advice of Zevia and we tried the soda straight out of the can because it can get warm and flat in a cup! The first flavor we tried at Rose's request was Cherry Cola. It smelled and tasted similar to other cherry soda drinks and we enjoyed it. My husband isn't a diet pop fan because of the taste of the sweeteners but he really liked these sodas because the there was no funny after-taste. My favorite flavor was the Grapefruit Citrus - it was very refreshing - especially with the warm weather we have been experiencing!

Zevia (which comes in 15 different flavors) is all-natural and has no calories, no net carbs, and no fat! It is a diet soda that uses Stevia which is an herb that is native to South and Central America and is used to sweeten foods. It is hundreds of times sweeter than sugar and has no effect on blood sugar levels. Zevia uses no artificial sugar substitutes (Taken from the Zevia website) - I could definitely taste the difference with the use of a natural sweetener versus artificial sweetener.
