Introducing what is bound to be one of this holiday's cutest toys: The Zelfs!! We had the opportunity to play with the Zelfs before they came out in stores this past July while we were in Chicago. They are reminiscent of the old Troll dolls I used to play with when I was in elementary and junior high!
A little background on The Zelfs:
They are a group of whimsical, quirky and collectible dolls from Moose Toys. When the twilight moon rises in the sky, Zelfs emerge from the secret garden of Zardenia where they dwell in different "fab-itats" - they feature colorful and spike-tacular hair and each Zelf has their own persona and accessories for your child to try and tame their Zelfs' crazy hair!
Now available in stores, you can find The Zelfs at Toys R Us, Walmart and Amazon.
We received a medium sized Zelf, named Elfa, for Rose to play with and review. I told her about The Zelfs and she stopped me mid-sentence and told ME all about them!! Apparently she had already seen commercials on TV for them! So needless to say, she was excited to get them.
Rose is 10 and just started middle school but she loves her Littlest Pet Shops, Barbies, Monster High dolls, Legos and more - she loves to play. She disappeared with Elfa as soon as we got her and the next morning I managed to sneak a couple pictures of where the two of them were playing! She loved Elfa and she is already telling me which ones she would love to find next! Plus she is excited to know that The Zelf website will soon have fun Zelf games on their site where you can Zelf yourself!

ReplyDeleteI, too, thought of Troll dolls when I first saw these. Honestly, I think these are cuter, though, and are better toys, overall. I love that they went to the trouble of making several different ear and smile styled. The painting/screening on these guys is also very nice. I don't have kids, but I do have a studio space that I brighten up with cute & quirky toys. Elfa is quickly becoming my favorite.
ReplyDeleteI think my kids would like Garny the best
