Here is a little background information on the Shark Sonic Duo Cleaning System:
Sonic Duo uses first-of-its-kind technology to remove four times more stuck-on dirt in carpets than vacuuming alone and deep cleans hard floors better than any mop on the market. In fact, hard floors look and feel cleaner than with Swiffer WetJet®*, and you can clean with less effort too, as the Sonic Duo glides over hard floors and carpets with just the push of a finger. The Sonic Duo technology is a unique combination of high-speed scrubbing action at 1,000 times per minute to remove stuck-on dirt and grime, and a custom cleaning solution and pad that results in a deeper clean leaving no sticky residue for a truly clean home.
We first tried the Sonic Duo out on our daughter's area rug for some spot removal. It didn't remove all the spots but lightened the ones that it didn't remove completely. I also tried it by our front door entryway which gets the most foot traffic. This is where I noticed the most considerable difference in stain removal after using the Shark Sonic Duo - huge difference from other methods we had used before to clean this area. We also tried the Sonic Duo on our kitchen linoleum and it cleaned and brightened up the floor in no time. The Sonic Duo was easy to handle and maneuver. I was a little intimidated by all the instructions, different cleaning pads and solutions but Shark color coded the different pads/solutions to correspond to the specific floor types so it made it easy to follow! And with the Shark Sonic Duo being able to clean all different floor types, it makes this little machine quite versatile.
