REVIEW: Stackable Appetizer Maker from Architec Housewares - Perfect for Holiday Parties!

In our household we are always making desserts and appetizers for fun get-togethers with our family and friends so you can imagine my delight when I was asked to review the Stackable Appetizer Maker from Architec Housewares.

Stackable Appetizer Maker is simple to use and you can create layered, bite size, gourmet appetizers using everyday ingredients in just five minutes. The four piece set snaps together so you will never lose a piece.

I made a simple dessert consisting of ladyfingers, marshmallow fluff, fresh sliced strawberries, cool whip and shaved chocolate. It turned out terrific for our first attempt and not following a recipe!

Some tips that I found valuable while using the Stackable Appetizer Maker to make our dessert were to make sure the dry ingredients overlap to avoid breaks in the layers and to press firmly with the tamper because the harder you press, the better the stacks hold together. Another great tip is that messy ingredients make messy stacks so those ingredients should be used sparingly so they don't create unstable stacks.

The Stackable Appetizer Maker comes with a bonus recipe book, is dishwasher safe and makes a wonderful holiday gift. I will be keeping this in mind for wedding shower gifts and for a housewarming or hostess gift!
