Wild Ophelia Chocolate Bars Review and Giveaway

The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

We had the opportunity to meet the folks from Wild Ophelia this summer in Chicago at the BlogHer conference. I had never heard of them but their chocolates and flavors just looked amazing and unique so I was super excited to be able to work with them on a review of their chocolate bars.

Here is a little background on Wild Ophelia Chocolates:
Wild Ophelia, created by Vosges' Katrina Markoff, features a premium line of chocolate bars that bridges the divide between the local, American farmers' movement and chocolate. Wild Ophelia is a uniquely American brand that features all-natural and often organic ingredients sourced from small farms and food artisans to tell an American story. Flavor combinations, such as BBQ Potato Chip, Beef Jerky and Peanut Butter Banana are unexpected yet approachable.

On the back of each chocolate bar, you'll find the story of each ingredient alongside a listing of recognizable and pronounceable ingredients. All Wild Ophelia products are made with 100% renewable energy and packaged in 100% recycled board. Markoff has launched Wild Ophelia to bring innovative chocolate creations mainstream and to provide universal access to quality chocolate.

Wild Ophelia sent us out an amazing assortment of their chocolate bars: New Orleans Chili, Peanut Butter & Banana, Sweet Cherry Pecan, Salted Chowchilla Almond, Smokehouse BBQ Potato Chips, Southern Hibiscus Peach, Beef Jerky, Seasonal Peppermint Bark and their special Hunger Games inspired bars for the different districts!

Our Thoughts:
Unbelievable! I don't know what else to say! I was most excited to try the Peanut Butter & Banana bar and the Beef Jerky Chocolate Bar and they didn't disappoint! The Peanut Butter Banana bar was the perfect combination of flavors and the Beef Jerky flavor is such an amazing sweet/salty combination - LOVED IT! All the flavors were amazing and honestly I have already gone out to Walgreens to purchase more for stocking stuffers and gift baskets for the family. I love how Wild Ophelia showcases different regions and the flavors of those regions!

You can find Wild Ophelia Chocolate Bars at your local Walgreens, HEB and Meijer locations in addition to online ordering. You can use the store locator online to find your nearest Wild Ophelia distributor!!
