Melitta JavaJig Single-Serve Filter Product Review

“The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

We have a Keurig at my work and I love the different assortment of coffees that are available to try out but with purchasing a lot of local Michigan coffees and loose teas that aren't available in Kcups, we aren't able to enjoy these coffees and teas at work.....until now!

Melitta now offers a solution.....The JavaJig - A reusable coffee filter system for use with most Keurig style single serve coffee brewers. I have seen these at the grocery store in the coffee aisle and the idea intrigued me so I was happy to test out the JavaJig system!

I love that the Melitta JavaJig allows me to customize the strength of my coffee or tea by allowing me to fill the filter system with as much or as little coffee or tea as I want depending on my tastes. Another perk is the savings involved with using the JavaJig. A cup of coffee using the JavaJig costs approximately 50% less per cup when compared to pre-filled store-bought Kcups. The JavaJig is reusable and the paper filters are compostable which makes it better for the environment - plus the cup is BPA free!

Melitta JavaJig product info:
  • Kit includes 2 reusable cups & 30 Melitta coffee filters.
  • Simple to use and ready in seconds.
  • Economical alternative to one use disposable cups.
  • Saves money...approximately 50% per cup when you use your own favorite coffee or loose tea.
  • Quick and easy to clean; just remove and discard filter; rinse and reuse holder.
  • Eco-friendly, recyclable and BPA free.
The Melitta JavaJig starter pack includes two filter cups and 30 single-serve filters and the filter refill packs come with 60 filters - both products are available in your local grocery store and specialty retailers.

  1. That filter looks awesome! I have some favorite coffees too that are not available in KCups and I have to use my regular 12cup machine to brew it! I will have to check out the grocery store to see if these are available there!

  2. This looks so helpful!! I just got some Starbucks coffee to try out and I misplaced my regular coffee pot so I can only use my Keurig. I'll have to look into this!

  3. I'm not a coffee drinker, but I know a few people who are, and they would LOVE this. I'll be sure to tell them about it! Thanks! :)
