We are big food lovers in our house. My husband tends to be more adventurous that I am but over the years I have gotten better at trying to new dishes and items and keeping an open mind. I tried hummus for the first time years ago and loved it! It is the perfect snack with pita chips or veggies. It is an excellent appetizer and even a condiment on a wrap, sandwich or with a side of chicken.
I was very excited to work with Sabra on a review of their hummus products. They have a huge variety of flavors of hummus in addition to other items such as their salsas, veggie dips, guacamole and Mediterranean salads.
Sabra sent us out eight of their 14 hummus flavors to try out and review. We received Roasted Pine Nut, Roasted Garlic, Classic, Roasted Red Pepper, Olive Tapenade, Spinach & Artichoke, Supremely Spicy and Tahini Hummus flavors.
W-O-W!
Honestly....there wasn't a hummus flavor that we didn't love! They were all smooth and creamy and the different flavor twists were amazing! Roasted Pine Nut and Spinach & Artichoke were my favorites - hands-down! But the Olive Tapenade and Roasted Red Pepper were close seconds! We ate them in different ways such as with pita chips as a snack or with fresh cut up vegetables. I also took some into work to eat with some chicken and rice. Delicious! I even snuck some of the Roasted Pine Nut Hummus and ate it with a spoon it was that nutty and full of flavor!
I cannot wait to check out my local grocery store to see if I can find some of their newer products - especially their Mediterranean salads and veggie dips! Perfect for upcoming summer gatherings!
Check out Sabra's website for their handy Store Locator to find their products at a grocer near you in addition to recipes, product and nutritional information and coupons!
