I am so excited to work with Midnight Velvet again to review one of the products!! I had a very hard time choosing which item to review and even enlisted my husband's help making a decision since I narrowed it down to a few things and couldn't decide what to get!!
For those of you who have been following along - I have lost quite a bit of weight since January of this year as I have decided to make healthier lifestyle choices like watching what I eat and going to the gym weekly! To date I have lost 27 pounds and because of this, I have already gone down two sizes. So I have been updating my wardrobe with some pieces to get me through as I transition and keep losing weight!
My husband is the principal of a middle/high school (he also teaches there as well) and his student's prom was last month. Guess who got to go to the prom with her husband for the first time? That would be this girl! So I needed a dress......enter Midnight Velvet!

It is stunning and it fit me like it was made just for me! The ruffle layers covered my abdomen area (which is an area that I am most self-conscious about) and it was unbelievably flattering. We went to prom and had a great time - I felt so amazing in this dress. I haven't worn a shorter style dress in awhile so the weight of the skirt was reassuring to me since it was windy that day - I wasn't concerned about it blowing up! I seriously felt like a million dollars wearing this dress - such a confidence boost being able to wear something stylish that fit so perfectly!
