The Wet Brush Mom & Me Review and Giveaway!!!

“I participated in this event on behalf of Wendy's Blogger's for The Wet Brush. I received Wet Brush products in order to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

As most mothers know, it is a struggle to get their daughters (and sometimes sons) to brush their hair because the brushes they use "hurt them" (sigh)! Rose is 11 and this is all I have heard since she could talk and the struggles and drama-filled tantrums to get a brush near her hair were as much torture to me as much as they were her!

Thankfully there is a solution and both Rose and I are happy to have found it! Enter.....The Wet Brush! I was skeptical because we have tried many products, brushes, combs, detanglers and more without much success!

Introducing......(Drumroll, please)....The Wet Brush!!

The Wet Brush – the healthy detangling hairbrush – is the best selling hairbrush in the U.S.! With its famous “IntelliFlex bristles,” it’s a product that has set a milestone in haircare. The bristles’ flexibility enables protective and pain-free detangling. They are firm enough to comb through knots, yet flexible enough to be gentle on the scalp. The tips of the bristles even massage the scalp to circulate blood flow! It’s no mystery why Moms and kids can’t live without their Wet Brush. It’s available in most beauty stores and salons in the U.S. and more than 45 countries.” ~ The Wet Hair Brush

We received an awesome assortment of The Wet Brushes - 2 Wet Brush Classics (standard size brush), 2 Wet Brush Squirts (medium sized brushes - perfect for smaller hands), 2 Wet Brush Pops (awesome little compact, foldable brushes) and 1 Wet Brush Paddle (slightly bigger and wider than the Classic brush).

We have used all the different styles of brushes this past month - The Wet Brush is definitely the "Miracle Brush" as they call it! The absolute ease of brushing through your wet or dry hair without snag, breakage or tears is unbelievable - especially with Rose and I having two different types of hair! Mine is chin length and very thick while hers is a pixie cut and very fine. Rose loved the brushes so much she actually snuck off with 2 of mine to take to school for gym class and one for grandma's house!

I asked Rose what her favorite brush was and she said the Paddle! I asked her why and she said it was the perfect size to swat at someone if they are getting sassy when you are brushing your hair! HAHA - that is my child! Her FAVORITE Wet Brush is the Wet Brush Pops - it was a fun brush to pop open and fold close. She loved how portable the Pops were and could fit in my purse or her backpack for school. Plus at school she could "pop" it open and use the mirror to spy on the boys behind her (soooo middle school)!!

I loved all the brushes - The Paddle was the fastest way to get your hair brushed and styled since it was so wide. The Classic was probably the one I was most comfortable with due to the size. The Squirt brush was a little smaller than I would use for my hand but was perfect for Rose and or any person with smaller hands. The Pops size brush is terrific - it folds in half for easy storage on the go - whether in my purse, a school bag - to take to the gym, the beach this summer....anywhere on the go! It pops open easily for a quick hair touch-up and glance in the mirror and then fold it closed and off you go! Simple and easy!

My absolute favorite thing about all the brushes were the bristles. I know Rose wouldn't appreciate it but the bristles are so soft and feel like you are getting a scalp massage while brushing your hair (heavenly). It reminded me of the scalp massager our hair stylist uses on me when I get my hair cut! Then it dawned on me....who better to show this brush to than a fabulous lady who deals with hair all day long! I gave our stylist (and friend) Jenny one of the brushes for her to take home and use! She insisted on using it on Rose to see how it worked and her face was priceless! I think she was shocked at the ease in which the bristles brushed the hair without tangles (and no detangler)! Needless to say - I believe The Wet Brush met her seal of approval and she said she will be using it on clients from that day forward!!

I HIGHLY recommend The Wet Brush family of brushes (there are even brushes for the men in your household)!
