Product Review: W·H·Y Trap for Wasps, Hornets & Yellowjackets

“The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

Summertime is in full swing and unfortunately - so are the nuisance pests like wasps, flies and more! RESCUE! Products have a wide variety of devices and attractants to help you combat these insects! We recently had the opportunity to review the W·H·Y Trap for Wasps, Hornets & Yellowjackets for our backyard. All three of these pests are a problem for us and Rose has been stung a few times in the past while playing outside so I was very excited to try this trap out!

The W·H·Y Trap was very easy to fill with the insert that came with it. Thankfully the attractant is non-toxic since my husband decided to open the package with his teeth (not recommended) and got it on himself! The attractant lasts two weeks and then you can purchase refills to keep using through the summer months.

As you can see from our pictures, the W·H·Y Trap was very successful in trapping those nuisance pest sand Rose wasn't as afraid to play out in the yard because she knew the W·H·Y Trap was doing it's job!

How it works:
The W·H·Y Trap has a top chamber and a bottom chamber. The top chamber is baited with two attractants -- one of which is a solid contained in a vial, and the other a liquid mixed with water. The bottom chamber is baited with a liquid attractant poured onto a cotton pad. Wasps, hornets and yellowjackets have two ways to enter: either through the top cap, or through the holes in the bottom cap.

  1. These look great! We have tons of wasps here (by the front door of course lol) and I have a terrible fear of them since one decided to fly down my shirt and sting my back as I entered the house as a kid. I'll have to go check these out! Thanks for the heads up!
