Back to school time is in full swing - rushing around to make sure all the supplies are purchased, activities are signed up for and more! Being constantly on the go can take it's toll on your body so it is important to make sure you are eating healthy, getting enough sleep and keeping active. I know that is easy said then done! I know that vitamins are an important part of my daily regimen to help keep my energy up, helps me sleep at night and keeps my body healthy in general.

According to the National Institutes of Health, more than one-third of Americans take multi-vitamins—with about one in four young children taking a vitamin each day. With back to school time upon us, the kids are ready to go taking their vitamins and eating a healthy breakfast– now it’s time for parents to get into their own healthy routines. We received 4 different vitamins to try out from Puritan's Pride. My doctor recommends that my husband and I take a multivitamin daily, in addition to myself taking Vitamin D and B12 because I have Ulcerative Colitis and cannot absorb vitamins and nutrients from food as your body normally does. I hadn't tried fish oil prior to this but I had heard the benefits of taking it so I gave it a shot.
