Chill Factor Slushy and Ice Cream Maker Reviews #HGG14

The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

The Chill Factory has two fun options for making your favorite slushy and ice cream treats at home! I am sure your children or grandchildren have seen these advertised on TV before! Rose certainly had and was super excited to test these two products out!

The Chill Factor Ice Cream Maker and Slushy Maker both work by placing the lower cup portion in your freezer in order to freeze the chambers inside the cup. These are not dishwasher safe and all the parts will need to be washed by hand. Also - make sure to read all the directions before trying this out. My daughter and I skipped a step with the ice cream maker and didn't pre-mix the ingredients in the top of the ice cream scoop and they separated a little when we made our ice cream (still tasted delicious though).

Our experiences with both the Slushy and Ice Cream turned out with pretty good results. Our ice cream was definitely more of a softer ice cream and the slushy melted pretty quickly outside of the cold chamber of the cup. Rose had a lot of fun with these products and has used them quite a few times since! It is a plus to be able to use whatever beverage you want to with the Slushy Maker - we used apple cider to make one of Rose's favorite fall beverages - an Apple Cider Slushy, which she gets at the local orchard every time we go.

Both the Ice Cream Maker and Slushy Maker from The Chill Factory are available in stores like Walmart, Bed Bath & Beyond and online retailers like Amazon. These would make fun and novel holiday gifts for family and friends - not just kids!
