Vegetables....one thing I wish I could get my daughter to eat more of as a young child. Thankfully at age 12, she is coming around and exploring new foods more! I wish this book would have been around when Rose was younger because I feel it showcasing such a healthy set of foods - Vegetables - in such a positive way. Especially since adults don't realize that sometimes they may cast a negative light on veggies with little comments that they make. This picture book is beautifully illustrated and I feel it is an excellent resource to help familiarize children with vegetables, fruits and other plant-based foods in a way that is fun and hilariously entertaining!

The Rootlets: Super Rootabilities book is the first product launched by The Rootlets brand, whose mission is to familiarize kids with fruits, veggies, and healthy eating. Future Rootlets products include apps, more books, games & toys, and an animated TV show. The Rootlets will also be launching their website, which will be an interactive experience filled with games, activities, learning resources and exclusive content about the characters and their magical world.
