Brobo Product Review: A Robot Friend for A SleepFULL Night

The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

As most of you may be aware, our daughter Rose is 12 years old. Age aside - she loves her stuffed animals. A LOT! She sleeps with them each night. I was excited when I heard about the new Brobo plush nightlights for kids, especially since Rose still wakes up with occasional night terrors and nightmares.

Hog Wild Toys introduced the Brobo Robot line of plush nightlights and they are really fun with their over-sized features and anime look. There are five different characters: Brobo, Pep, Trex, Mumu and Dog. They do require batteries (not included) for the battery pack that is in their body which also features an on/off switch to save on the battery usage. These toys are recommended for children ages 18 months and up.

Rose received Pep to review and had a lot of fun testing out the different night light modes. The right hand of the toy has the Shine Force symbol and to activate and control the night light, you swipe the right hand over their heart first for Bright Mode. Swipe again for Dim Mode and again to power off. There also is an Auto Shut-off after 5 minutes to save on batteries. The LED light is cool to the touch so you don't have to worry about your child getting burned.

Brobo is definitely an easy to use toy that would help alleviate a child's fear of the dark or even taking on a trip for unfamiliar places. Brobo also has a free kid-friendly Brobo Bounce App that parents can download for educational cartoons and fun for your children to explore the outer limits with their Brobo pals!

Brobo Night Light Pals can be purchased directly on their website and retail for $32.95. I also found them at a discounted rate on Amazon as well.

  2. This is a really cool idea. We have a glowing turtle but my son thinks it's for babies... yet we still have night light needs. I think he's love the dinosaur one!
