Summer is officially just weeks away and so is Father's Day! We all know Dads like their gadgets, tools and projects so why not combine those summer tasks with cool Father's Day gifts for Dad like the BernzOMatic Lawn and Garden Torch. 

Our lawn and yard are a disaster from the harsh winter and we want to get them back in shape so we can start hosting some Summer barbeques and gatherings. I was very excited to receive the BernzOmatic JT850 Lawn and Garden Torch for my husband to review. It's perfect....he gets a new toy and also gets things checked off the "Honey-do" list.

Here are a couple ways we used our BernzOmatic Lawn and Garden Torch:

Weed control: We got rid of pesky weeds in between pavers and crevices in cement without the use of harsh chemicals using the our Lawn and Garden Torch to burn them away. The jumbo flame instantly destroyed the unwanted weeds, and was a more environmentally friendly option that dumping chemicals as we have done in the past. 
 

Prepped our driveway: We repaired our driveaway but filling the cracks with rubberized sealant and melted the sealant with the torch to make a permanent repair. Simple and effective.

Lighting Grills and Bonfires: We used our Lawn and Garden Torch to light our fire in our fire pit. Since the handle is 36 inches long, it helps protect you from burning yourself and safely lighting your fire. 

We even let our 12 year old daughter light the fire one evening after careful instruction and demonstration of how the torch works. Rose has been building and constructing with hammers, screws, nails and more since she was 3 so she knows how to respect safety guidelines (That being said, please read all the instructions before use and use your judgment on whom you allow to use the torch).
