The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

Has Summer boredom set in yet for your children? The dreaded.."Mommeeeee, I'm BOOOOOORED!" has reared it's head in our house! I am very thankful that this set of amazing books and activity kits showed up at our house just in time!

I have never been to The Smithsonian but I have heard that is one of the coolest places on Earth and the WOW factor of this amazing museum has is now available via interactive books and activity kits -- ideal for chasing away those summer boredom blues!

Below are just a few of the awesome fun and educational books and activity kits that Silver Dolphin Books and The Smithsonian have to offer:

The Smithsonian Sticker Creations line (ages 6+) – Dinosaurs and Under the Sea – engage young readers with an innovative, hands-on approach to learning. Each book presents fun facts about dinosaurs and sea creatures in a child-friendly manner, backed up by the experts at the Smithsonian, and comes with more than 175 reusable stickers plus 5 oversized 3-D stickers, and a pull-out framed play scene, allowing children to create their own prehistoric dinosaur scene or ocean floor adventure.

The Smithsonian Everything You Need to Know Fact Cards series, divided into Grades K-1 and Grades 2-3, is specially tailored for inquisitive minds of different ages. Each box includes 275 fact cards featuring categories that range from space to history to health, chosen to compliment the curricula for each grade level. The facts are paired with beautiful color photographs, illustrations, and diagrams that will capture young imaginations.
Smithsonian Young Explorers: 50 States (Ages 6+) comes packed in a sturdy travel case with an illustrated poster and a giant 130-piece floor puzzle of the United States. The alphabetically arranged fact book details state birds, animals, flowers, famous residents, and other fun trivia.

Smithsonian Discover: Earth (ages 8+), young readers will learn about the amazing animals, vast oceans, and wild weather that make up the planet they call home. The comprehensive guide comes with 12 fact cards, a large two-sided poster, and a 3D paper globe for children to construct.

Our Thoughts:
Rose thoughts these books were really cool! The 3D stickers and the reusable stickers kept her busy while she read through the books. She had a lot of fun putting together the 3D paper globe from the Discover Earth book and asked us to hang it in her room. With my husband being from Germany and Rose being a dual citizen - it's important for her to educate herself on the world surrounding both her countries - especially since we want to head back to Germany and travel some more. The fact cards featured very colorful photographs and illustrations which definitely kept the kids interested as Rose quizzed our neighbor's son while they played "school." Very educational and informative set of books and activity kits that the kids had a lot of fun using. I love when you can teach children while making it fun and engaging! I would definitely recommend checking out all of these products and I will be looking for more of their products to add to our collection!
