Our Thoughts:

The movie Cinderella is visually breathtaking! The vivid colors and intricately designed costumes are stunning to look at (although I cannot imagine the torture the ladies felt by having to wear those tight corsets!). The scenery, set design and visual effects were so beautiful, I wanted to live in that time period based on the vibrant colors and beautiful house alone!

I loved the elements of humor throughout the film (especially Helena Bonham Carter in the role of the Fairy Godmother) - it definitely had a nice balance of action, drama and comedy. I would have loved to see Cinderella's character portrayed as more of a strong and independent female lead such as Drew Barrymore's character in "Ever After" but that would have gone against Cinderella's mother's wishes of "have courage and be kind." I really enjoyed the movie at the theater and watching it again with my family with this Blu-ray Combo Pack!
