The love story blooming in Hope Valley continues with When Calls the Heart: Heart and Home, on DVD from Shout! Factory on September 8, 2015.

From celebrated author Janette Oke (The Love Comes Softly series) comes a rigorous and romantic adventure as epic as the wide frontier. Erin Krakow (Army Wives), Daniel Lissing (Eye Candy), Jack Wagner (Melrose Place) and Lori Loughlin (Full House, 90210) star in When Calls The Heart, “a beautiful story with roots in relationships, self-empowerment, and the enduring power of love” (Common Sense Media).
Executive produced by Michael Landon Jr., When Calls the Heart is currently airing Season 2 on The Hallmark Channel.

DVD Synopsis:

Jack and Elizabeth leave Hope Valley and rush back to the city of Hamilton when they learn that  Jack’s brother, Tom, was involved in an automobile accident… with Elizabeth’s sister, Julie! But Tom and Julie are hiding something about the incident, a deceit that puts Jack and Elizabeth at odds with their families… and with each other. Their trip is further complicated when Tom and Julie endeavor to run off together – via train this time – and Elizabeth’s father offers Jack a job – an offer that puts Jack and Elizabeth’s fledgling romance in peril yet again.

Our Thoughts:
My mother-in-law and sister-in-law got me hooked on this series from Hallmark and I absolutely love it! The storyline is awesome and is filled with romance, drama and more. I love that I can watch it with my entire family, including our daughter, and not worry about the content being too mature. I am so happy that they told me about When Calls The Heart - It is a must-see series for sure!

When Calls The Heart: Heart and Home is available at major retailers nationwide in addition to online retailers such as Amazon. It is currently not-rated and has a run-time of 84 minutes.

  2. I really love this show a lot, I am going to say right now it is definitely my favorite Love story. My other one is this show called, "Fated To Love You" it is Korean ( there is a Taiwanese version that isn't as good). I highly recommend it if you are able to watch it. Warning though, there will be tears.
