Say it with Sand this holiday season by giving the gift of Dune Jewelry #HolidayGiftGuide #DuneJewelry

“The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

My husband and I have managed to sneak away to the small town of Saugatuck, Michigan (near the big city of Holland) twice now in the past fourteen months for a weekend away to reconnect and just be a couple. We never had a traditional honeymoon and we didn't get our first weekend away just the two of us until our ten year anniversary. Now we have made it a priority for just the two of us to get away at least once a year if not more.

Growing up in Michigan, my family always vacationing "Up North" which is a large, wide definition pertaining to anything north of where we lived. We always staying on or within minutes of beautiful Lake Michigan and all my summer memories involve the lake, beach and sand. My husband and I heading to Saugatuck and visiting Holland gave us chance to explore more of Lake Michigan and it's beautiful sandy beaches.

I was looking at unique keepsake jewelry pieces online in the past few months and that is how I discovered Dune Jewelry. I was completely blown away by how stunning their jewelry is. Dune Jewelry pieces are usually filled with sand from specific locations worldwide and handmade for you to wear as a memento or keepsake of your time spent at that location. They have a "Sand bank" filled with sands from beaches not just from the United States, but worldwide. Can't find your sand? You can actually submit your own sand for your piece of jewelry and they will keep your sand on file for future customers.

Here is a little more information about Dune Jewelry:
Dune Jewelry has almost 500 coastal boutiques and jewelry stores that carry Dune and it’s the perfect keepsake to wear home with you from vacation, hence their mantra “live for the moment, then take it with you”. Each and every time you place an order, Dune's team actually heads to their Sandbank to pull your specific sand, then they pull the jewelry findings needed to create your piece – then it’s time to sit down and craft your order which can take a few days depending on the design.  This process is so unique compared to any other jewelry companies and this is why it takes 2-4 weeks to receive your Dune Jewelry - All their pieces are handmade in the USA!

Dune Jewelry didn't have any sand from Oval Beach in Saugatuck, so I made sure on our recent September trip to bring home sand using their "Submit your own Sand" guidelines and to make sure it was enough so future customers could find Oval Beach and have a memento of their time there!

My Dune Jewelry Sandollar Necklace arrived safely nestled in it's box and it is beautiful. I love knowing that all pieces are unique because the various beach sands aren't all made up of the same colors and materials so the jewelry items will vary in color and makeup.

Details about the Sandollar Necklace:
Traditionally, the sand dollar symbolizes endings that lead to new beginnings. Their Sandollar Necklace allows you to display your sand, magnificently suspended in a gem-like finish, and reminds you that even as travels come to a close, the memories of moments can last a lifetime - or come to life again.

• Sterling silver round bezel
• 25mm round bezel of sand
• Your choice of sand, layered in the bezel setting
• Pendant alone is 1.5" long and 1" wide
• Gem-like, slightly domed finish
• Choose a 16”, 18” or 20” sterling silver chain or black cord
• Handmade with Love & Sandy Hands in the USA

Dune Jewelry is truly a special way to capture memories from vacations and travel whether in your own city, state or some fun place you have visited worldwide. They even have a charm collection in which you can create and fill charms with sands from places you have traveled. It makes a perfect gift to yourself (because we all need to spoil ourselves sometimes) or to give a friend or loved one, whether for the upcoming holidays, Valentine's Day, anniversaries, honeymoons - the list is endless!
