Birthdays at Chuck E. Cheese's just got better with New Birthday Theme Packages! #CEC #ChuckECheese

Our visit to Chuck E. Cheese's was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

Rose has always loved heading to Chuck E Cheese's for pizza and fun games whether it was a family fun night, a reward for getting good grades or attending a birthday party there. Planning birthday parties and gatherings can be a little stressful. We are usually too busy being a hostess and making sure everything is going according to plan, that we miss most of the fun.

Chuck E. Cheese's is a fun destination for your child's birthday parties! Plus birthdays just got better at Chuck E. Cheese's because now the birthday boy or girl can choose between a Superhero or Princess theme package and take home great birthday goodies like a cape, mask or tiara and a special birthday gift.

Planning a party at Chuck E. Cheese's is easy, whether you book it online to reserve your space, call or even stop into the location to make your plans. There are different party packages to choose from and all include your own dedicated party host so you don't miss a minute of the fun! Every child that has a reserved birthday party (no matter the package chosen) gets a Superhero cape and mask or Princess cape and mask. They also get two hours of reserved table space, a turn in the Ticket Blaster, a tabletop photo cutout in the theme they have chosen, in addition to star recognition in the birthday show!

We had the opportunity to have a mock birthday party to celebrate Rose's birthday (her birthday was about 2 weeks prior to our visit). We have attended birthdays before at Chuck E Cheese's at the location in Flint, Michigan which is about 6 minutes from where we live and have always had a good time.

We were warmly greeted by the manager Jim and we had two hosts helping us with our party - Holly and Jazzy. They made sure everything was taken care of, cleaned up and brought to our table. They both also gave us updates on the timeline of events as well so we knew when the pizza would come out, how long we had to play games, when Chuck E. Cheese would arrive for birthday show and more. We were able to sit back and enjoy ourselves. We were excited to try their newer thin crust pizza which was delicious (their pizza is always good). My husband and I also like to get the salad bar while we are there because there is a fresh selection of greens, salad toppings, veggies, side salads and more. We also had a chocolate cake (no surprise my child chose chocolate!) and it was the perfect size for us!

We all had a blast playing games while waiting for our pizza and then after as well while we waited for the birthday show to start up. We managed to embarrass our daughter as the center of attention at the show (that was fun) but she had fun with it. Rose really had a fun time in the Ticket Blaster - she had a strategy going in on how to grab all the tickets....that she promptly forgot once it was turned on. She managed to catch tickets but not ALL of them like she planned on (plus we had a few chuckles at the expression on her face while in the Blaster).

Our night capped off with a stop at the "ticket muncher" and Rose redeemed all the tickets she won while playing games. Holly was very patient and helpful behind the counter while Rose took her time selecting and deliberating what she wanted to redeem them for. She settled on a gumball machine!

If you are looking for a fun birthday idea for your child or grandchild, check out Chuck E. Cheese's as your party destination. Call, stop in or reserve your party date and time online - it's that easy and they help you plan it all (down to the email invitations) so you can sit back and enjoy the party on your child's special day!

Visit Chuck E. Cheese's website and sign up for the Chuck E-Club® email newsletter. I get it periodically and it is filled with deals, promotions, coupons and more! You can also find coupons for your next visit on their website and I highly recommend printing off some of their rewards calendars for your kids as a chance to earn extra tokens (rewards calendars for good behavior, reading, chores, homework and more).

  2. I had my 8th birthday party at Chuck E Cheese! It was a lot of fun. Of course, a lot of things have changed since then. However, it was fun then and fun now. One thing that hasn't changed is the way the employees treat you - they are really great and patient with all the kids!!
