Made in Michigan - Fessler's Spice Blend Gift Box Review + Giveaway Ends 12/29

“The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

We had the privilege of working with Fessler's Sauces last year. Their Original Fessler's Sauce is out of this world! Since working with them last, they have introduced a new BBQ Sauce and four different spice blends into their product line!

Fessler's is a Michigan company and they are located in Brighton, Michigan and the company is run by a husband and wife team - Steve & Julie Fessler! The "Saucy Story" behind the Original Fessler's Sauce dates back over 90 years. Since the early 1920′s, Fessler’s Original Sauce has been enjoyed by fish and seafood lovers throughout Michigan. Fisherman would bring their fresh catch to the small tavern located on the shores of Lake Ponemah. Their catch would be prepared, served with fries, slaw and the “Fish Sauce.”

Fessler's Original Sauce is available in many Michigan retailers including Meijer, Spartan Stores, some Kroger locations and other local grocery stores. Check out where to find Fessler's products here. You can also purchase their sauces, spice blends and other products on their website!

A little more about Fessler's Products:

Fessler's Original Sauce is their Scovie Award Winning Mustard sauce and is sure to please just about everyone, especially those who love mustard! (My husband has pouted before when we have run out - no joke)!

Fessler's BBQ Sauce is made with Apple Cider Vinegar and pure Michigan Honey! It’s honey sweet with a little smoke and heat. As with their other products, it’s all natural and contains no preservatives. It’s gluten free too! Perfect for all of your grilling needs. Slather some on your pulled pork, ribs and chicken.

Fessler's Baja Spice Blend is inspired by the flavors of Mexico. Use generously on Ground Beef, Chicken, Rice, Corn or make a dip by mixing into Sour Cream or Cream Cheese. Sprinkle on Tortillas and make homemade chips.

Fessler's Oriental Spice Blend is inspired by the Far East. Our spice rubs are handcrafted in small batches, using only the finest ingredients. Perfect on Fish, Chicken, Rice, Sweet Potatoes, Vegetables, etc.

Fessler's Café Spice Blend is a ballet of sweet and savory notes that only the addition of a dark roasted coffee can bring to a Steak, Scallops, Lamb, Pork or Beef Roast. With it’s earthy undertones and robust flavor, cowboy’s have known for years that there is no better way to season meat. Just for kicks, try it on French Toast and sweet potatoes.

Fessler's BBQ Spice Blend will enhance the smokey flavors of grilled or smoked meats. Perfect for those who like dry rubs or use in combination with our BBQ Sauce, for that 2 part wow! Great on Ribs, Chicken, Burgers and more. Use generously as a rub on meats or sprinkle on corn the cob, potato salad or cottage cheese.

The new spice blends are so good and so unbelievably versatile on a wide array of food items. I love that depending on what "food mood" I am in, I can change up what spices I want to use to satisfy my craving. We even used the Baja Spice blend to make a veggie dip using a sour cream/mayo mixture - amazing and full of flavor.

For those of you watching your calorie intake like I try to, Fessler's Original Sauce is fat free and is only 15 calories per tablespoon so I can add it to my burger or brat and not feel guilty! Fessler's has their nutritional and ingredient information on their website HERE (plus their sauce has 0 points if you are following the WW program).

You can check out Fessler's on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram to stay up to date on their new products, recipes, promotions and events out and around Michigan.
