Our family shares a love a photography and we are always taking pictures (and being a blogger, it comes with the job). Rose has been taking pictures since she was eight or nine years old and I still remember the shocked look at people's faces when I handed our daughter our expensive camera and set her loose. I wasn't concerned because the rule was that both hands had to be on the camera and the strap always around her neck. She takes some amazing pictures and it is awesome to see things from her perspective because she thinks to capture shots I wouldn't have. Now pair our love of photography with my daughter and husband's love of martial arts? I am always trying to capture action shots of spinning crescent kicks, breaking boards and other moves but since I am always at a distance in the crowd so I can't capture all the moments!

That is why I am so excited about the Polaroid Cube! This tiny action camera measures in at a little more than a cubic inch and not only supports Micro SD cards up to 32GB, but is weatherproof, shockproof and has a 124° wide-angle lens to capture all of our shenanigans.....I mean, their martial arts moves!

More about the Polaroid Cube Lifestyle Action Camera:

Splash-resistant, shockproof, mountable, and built to handle everything you can imagine. Packed with fun including 1080p HD video, 124° wide-angle lens, and built-in battery that records up to 90 minutes - the Polaroid Cube is ready for anything.

With a magnet on the bottom, the Polaroid Cube is designed to stick with you. Pop one on your helmet, skateboard, or any metal surface and roll with the fun. There's no need to fiddle with bands, straps or other makeshift apparatuses. What's more, the camera's shockproof design helps to capture stable video even when you give it a run for its money, and its weatherproof sealing makes it perfect for wake boarding, water skiing or just chilling by the pool.

Polaroid Cube Specs:

  • HD 1080p video
  • 6MP camera
  • 124° wide-angle lens
  • Splash-resistant
  • Records up to 90 minutes
  • 35mm x 35mm
  • MicroSD up to 32GB

Our Thoughts:

I plan on giving this to Rose this Christmas because I know she is going to have a blast with it at karate and capturing all the fun there including stunts with her Dad. Rose is testing for her black belt this coming spring so she has a lots of training time in her future to photograph and record some of their sessions. I took the Polaroid Cube out of the box carefully and charged it up (one charge gives you 90 minutes of recording time). It is very lightweight and sturdy. The mounting magnets are extremely strong - I tested it on several metal surfaces and tried to "shake it off" like Taylor Swift without any luck which is great for capturing live shots.

You can purchase the Polaroid Cube at major retailers nationwide and they retail for under $100. There is an assortment of accessories to go with the Polaroid Cube as well. Whether purchasing in-store or online at retailers like Amazon, make sure to check to see if you are ordering the Polaroid Cube which comes without the memory card or the "bundle" which includes it. Ours didn't have the memory card but it wasn't a problem because we had an extra one at home so Rose is literally ready to start recording on Christmas Day!
