NEW Easter Items from Brio and Ravensburger! Perfect for Easter Baskets and Spring Break Fun!

“The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

If you are looking for some unique gift ideas, not only for Easter but all year-round, in addition to games and products to keep your kids engaged all through the summer months....we have some ideas for you from the company Wonder Forge. They carry two European based brands called Brio and Ravensburger, both whom create unique toys and games to help our children explore their creativity and open their worlds through imaginative play.

My husband is from Germany so we are quite familiar with Ravensburger and Brio products and currently have many on our game shelves for Family Game Night! I was very excited to check out some new items from Brio and Ravensburger including their wooden play sets that actually are safe for little ones to chew on (we all know they do) because the paint is safe.

Brio Remote Control Travel Train:
Take control and drive safely - you have a passenger on board! The unique controller has easy-to-use reverse and stop functions, as well as two different forward speeds, plus A&B frequencies to allow for multiple RC trains on the same tracks. Press the buttons for light and sound effects. The train can also be controlled with buttons on the engine. For ages 3 years+.

Brio Countryside Horse Set:
Take to the country! The wooden railway brings you over the rocks to a hidden countryside pasture. When your horse is up for a field trip away from its beautiful shed, give it a shower and lead it to the train. The wagon has a perfect design for horse transport, complete with a foldout ramp. Smooth riding, indeed. For ages 3 years+.

Ravensburger Buggaloop:
Look out! There’s a HEXBUG® in the yard and it’s coming after you! Players roll the die and move their bugs across the yard, until the HEXBUG® emerges from the loop and tries to bump them off. If you’re bugs are safe, then continue moving across the yard. Get bumped and you’ll have to start from the beginning again! The first player to get all of their bugs safely across wins! For ages 6 years+ and is for 2-4 players.

Ravensburger Smartscope:
Use your smart phone or tablet to explore the amazing world of microscopics with Smartscope! Magnify your own finds, including water, sand, feathers, leaves, insects, and more, or study the objects on the included poster and follow along in the manual for fun facts about each. With a removable light source, sliding object tray and two levels of magnification, you’ll be able to scope out all kinds of objects in minute detail and email them to all your friends! For ages 8 years +.

Our Thoughts:

The toy sets from Brio are extremely sturdy and well-made. My nieces and nephews loved setting them up and playing with them. I like that we didn't have to worry about the littlest one putting the wooden toys in her because the paint is safe. The Ravensburger game and toy are perfect for the older kids! My daughter is in love with the Smartscope.....she uses our smartphones to take pictures of things and uses the microscopic feature - no apps needed. These items are perfect for Easter and even through the summer months when the kids are bored!

  9. My eight and ten year old grandchildren would love this but I think it is too advanced for the younger ones. The Ravensburger smart scope looks perfect for my granddaughter who loves science.
