PBS Distribution released 13 stories from PBS KIDS’ popular Caillou series on the new DVD “Caillou's Pet Parade.” Join Caillou and his friends and family as they encounter a wide variety of pets and animals.

DVD Synopsis:

From playing fetch with a puppy, to drawing pictures of Clementine’s new goldfish, this DVD features Caillou having fun-filled animal adventures. Join Caillou as he creates a house for his cat Gilbert from a cardboard box, takes care of Leo’s hamster named Buddy, and learns about sheep during a visit to a farm with Grandma. In the story “Caillou is Scared of Dogs,” Caillou is playing in the park when a dog barks loudly scaring him. Later, when he visits Grandma’s house, and discovers that she’s caring for a neighbor’s puppy, he is nervous. Grandma helps Caillou overcome his fear by reading him a book about dogs and gently introducing Caillou to the friendly puppy. This DVD also features the story “Cowboy Caillou.” In this tale, Caillou meets Jonas, a real cowboy, and feeds carrots to a horse named Lucky.

Caillou's Pet Parade” is now available on DVD and has a run-time of approximately 60 minutes with a SRP of $12.99. It is available at major retailers nationwide in addition to online at Amazon.

Our Thoughts:

Caillou has a boundless imagination that makes every experience an opportunity for fun and play. By sharing in his incredible adventures, children can make believe along with him and find new ways to understand and enjoy the world around them. We have always loved Caillou and he never disappoints!
