Purex is always striving to bring us the newest innovative laundry products to make our lives easier and our clothes smelling amazing with fresh, unique scents. The new Purex plus Clorox 2 detergent combines the bright clean of Purex with an extra powerful boost of Clorox 2 stain fighters.

The new Purex plus Clorox 2 detergent is formulated to remove the toughest stains! It works on 100 different stains, plus it is safe for colors and is bleach free. Purex plus Clorox 2 is available at major retailers nationwide and comes in two fragrances - Original Fresh and Sunny Linen.

With my husband and daughter both being in martial arts, their white uniforms get dirty often and I have a hard time keeping the white looking fresh after each wash. I can't use bleach on the uniforms since there are color patches on it. I was very excited to try out the new Purex plus Clorox 2 detergent since it boasts the cleaning power I need that is safe on colors!

I noticed a major difference in my daughter's uniform within a couple washes. Her uniform was a lot older and dirtier than my husband's, so it was nice to see the white come through again without any discoloration of the colors or patches! I was pleasantly surprised and can't wait to see what I can treat and remove stains from next!

Purex plus Clorox 2 detergent contains 3 stain-fighting enzymes to remove 100 of the toughest stains such as starchy stains like chocolate and tomato sauce, protein-based stains like grass and blood and even food stains that use guar gum like ice cream and BBQ sauce. It works with all washing machines, including High-Efficiency (HE).

Here is a cleaning tip when using Purex plus Clorox 2 to get rid of those tough stains: Pretreat by applying some of the detergent directly to tough stains and rub it into fabric (I keep old toothbrushes around for this); Let it sit for 5 minutes before washing. For added power, use ¾ cap of detergent in wash.

  1. Get to the stain before it dries. Many stains, especially food stains, will rinse out with just water if you get to them immediately.

  12. You have to pre-soak your stains. It doesn't seem to matter which anti-stain that you use either.
