MOD Pizza Celebrates Incredible Kid Day with a Free Pizza Party Giveaway from each of it's 8 Michigan MOD Pizza Restaurants! Plus Enter to Win a $25 Gift Card - Ends 3/19/17 #sponsored

“This is a sponsored post on behalf of TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR) and MOD Pizza, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

In honor of Incredible Kid Day on March 16, TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants (TSFR), a Michigan-based family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual, quick service and family dining restaurants throughout the state, and its eight MOD Pizza restaurants, will celebrate by giving a free pizza party from each of its locations to eight local students' classrooms.

A day dedicated to recognizing the incredible efforts and characteristics of children around the world, MOD Pizza is seeking parents, guardians or friends to nominate local students who have gone above and beyond to create a ripple effect for good in the communities MOD Pizza serves.

The winning students, as selected by each of the eight MOD Squads, will receive a free pizza party for his/her entire classroom. Students kindergarten through fifth grade who attend a school located in Livonia, Northville, Rochester Hills, Woodhaven, Brighton, Canton, Chesterfield and Shelby Township are eligible to be entered to win the pizza giveaway. Those interested in nominating a student simply need to fill out the form, complete with the nominator’s name, the student’s name and age, the nominee’s school, contact information, and 200 words or less explaining why the student should be selected as a MOD Pizza Incredible Kid. You can access the form here in order to nominate a local student.

“We do more than just sell pizzas at MOD,” said Schostak. “Our company is dedicated to working with our local community and its residents to set an example for doing the right thing. This giveaway is helping us to encourage kids to follow in our footsteps from a young age so in the future they will be inspired to give back.”

Nominations will be accepted through Sunday, March 19. The grand prize pizza party winners will be selected and notified by Friday, March 24. Each student in the winning classroom will also receive a coupon for a free MOD sized pizza. Based in Seattle, MOD’s individual artisan-style pizzas are made on demand, using fresh-pressed dough and signature sauces, including MOD red sauce and MOD white sauce. As the company that launched the fast-casual pizza niche, guests can create their own pizzas and salads, using any combination of more than 30 fresh-featured toppings, or they can choose from a menu of MOD classics. Each pizza is hand-cooked in an 800 degree oven in five minutes or less and salads are hand-tossed in front of the customer. MOD also serves local draft beers, wine, handspun milkshakes, and house-made lemonades and iced teas.

In late 2014, TSFR announced its plans to launch 25 MOD Pizza locations in Michigan over the next five years. Since then, TSFR has opened its first eight MOD Pizza locations in Livonia, Northville, Rochester Hills, Woodhaven, Brighton, Canton, Chesterfield and Shelby Township.
