The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

"Flowers make life more beautiful. They provide a sea of color in the yard and fresh cut flowers to decorate every room of the house. Starting a garden for the first time can be a daunting task. Fortunately, bulbs are an easy and economical way to ensure flowers this coming spring—and provide a fool-proof way to jump-start gardens." - Longfield Gardens

This past fall we had the opportunity to work with Longfield Gardens on doing some fall bulbs planting and with Spring around the corner - I cannot wait to see my beautiful tulips and hyacinths start blooming!

Longfield Gardens sent us out a winter bulb kit called Red Lion Amaryllis for us to plant in anticipation of the warm weather around the corner! These bulb kits are available online and would make excellent gifts! I am waiting for mine to bloom so I can take it to my mother-in-law as an Easter gift!

I planted my Red Lion Amaryllis 3 weeks ago (Mid-February) and the kit we received had everything we needed in it - including the soil! All you need to do is plant the bulb and add water! The bulb kits come beautifully packaged and I love the Birch pot that my bulb kit came with! I love Birch trees because they remind me of up north in Michigan!
Two & Three Week Growth Photos!

I took a couple photos of the growth over the past few weeks and the Amaryllis is growing nicely! I suspect it will be blooming in the next couple weeks - just in time for a perfect Easter gift!
Look at those gorgeous blooms!
You can order your bulbs kits on Longfield Garden's website and don't forget to check out all the beautiful bulbs for all seasons in addition to their large selection of perennials. PLUS there is a wonderful selection of Spring bulb kits too featuring Dahlias, Calla lilies and Begonias and the containers they come in are as unique as the flowers that will bloom in them!

It is never to early to start planning your garden! Right now Longfield has a 20% off coupon code on their website in addition to FREE shipping with purchases over $50!!

Longfield also has an extensive "How-To" section to answer all your gardening questions! I used this guide last year since it was my first time planting bulbs and I found it extremely helpful!

I cannot wait to share with you the bloom on this Red Lion Amaryllis once it blooms - stay tuned for a beautiful, vibrant flower!

  2. I had no idea you could get/use coupons for plants and flowers! How very smart! We are starting a second garden for my son to help out with this year, so we'll have to see what they have to offer for us!
