We had the pleasure of reading both Book One (Unsettled) and Book Two (Surrounded) from SC Ellington's Unsettled Series in the past couple weeks and I was blown away. I cannot wait for book #3 because both books left me wanting for more. I love how independent Brooklyn is in these books which is not always typical for a romance novel. She is feisty and full of spirit. She has baggage from her past relationships that cause her to be her own worst enemy. Same being said for Logan....he carries baggage from his past due to a family tragedy. They both find something in each other that they didn't have with their past relationships. I have to say I love how they first meet (no spoilers here) - but it made me laugh out loud (my husband thought I lost it). The end of Unsettled made me tear straight away into Surrounded. Surrounded didn't end on a cliffhanger so I am curious to see how SC Ellington moves forward with the next book. I can tell you this - I am signed up on her Facebook page and email newsletter anxiously waiting for any news, teasers, release dates etc for book three! I would highly recommend these books to read - 5 out of 5 stars and two enthusiastic thumbs up!
