BOOK REVIEW: Sparrow by Sara Mack ~ NOW AVAILABLE

The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”
I have had the pleasure of reading three other Sara Mack books from her Guardian Trilogy and they are a supernaturally, intriguing set of novels - I loved them! I also have had the pleasure to meet Sara Mack in person at a book signing (she is a Michigan author) in which I proceeded to buy two full sets of her Guardian Trilogy books to get signed! I already had them on our Kindle but I wanted the tangible signed copies of one of my favorite authors - I even sent a set of the books to one of my cousins who is from Michigan so she and her daughters could get hooked on Sara Mack's books too!

Sparrow is now available (released today - 10/1) in paperback and Kindle versions!

Sparrow Book Synopsis:
When Kyle Dayton was seventeen, he lost his heart to Addison Parks.

It was easy to do. After spending countless summers of boredom with his grandmother at Buhl Lake, Kyle’s world turned upside down the minute Addison appeared. She was unlike any girl he had ever met; she was confident, out-going, and honest. She was beautiful inside and out, and she accepted Kyle for who he was ~ a young man without direction. They shared an amazing summer and, despite living miles apart, Kyle felt sure they had a future.
Until she vanished without a trace.

Where did she go? How could she disappear without saying a word? Was everything between them a lie? Unable to answer his own questions, Kyle had no choice other than to bury his memories and move on with his life. Eight years later, his hard work to forget is threatened when he is forced to return to Buhl Lake. Faced with reminders of Addison, Kyle wonders if he will ever discover the truth.

Little does he know it is about to be revealed.

Sparrow is the story of finding love, losing it, and the uncertain journey to reclaiming it again
Our Thoughts:

I received an ARC of Sparrow to give our honest review of. From the first paragraphs of Sparrow, I seriously was hooked. I loved the playful and sassy banter of the lead characters, Kyle and especially Addison! It reminds me of my husband and I! I won't give any spoilers away but my heart wrenched for Kyle when he discovers his love interest, Addison, is gone....and what he subsequently goes through. I love that Sparrow is told from a male's perspective - I think Sara Mack did an amazing job getting into the male psyche for this novel. This novel will keep you on your toes as you go along for the ride - I absolutely loved Sparrow and the departure from the genre of the Guardian Trilogy. Sara Mack nailed the contemporary romance genre!

  4. To be honest, I don't read...like ever...unless it is for work online. I have been trying to get my son to read more, and he doesn't like to either...so I have been thinking about finding something to read so I can be the example. Maybe if he sees me reading in my off time, he will too! Sparrow sounds like something I would definitely enjoy! Thanks for sharing!
