SodaStream Review and Giveaway

I was thrilled to recently have the opportunity to review a Fountain Jet Starter Kit from SodaStream!

We don’t buy pop too often in our home because it can add up in cost quickly and takes up a lot of space; however, the Fountain Jet takes up very little space and makes awesome-tasting pop!  We have enjoyed experimenting with the different flavors over the past month and I was excited to hear that my in-laws in Germany also have a SodaStream - so when we head there this summer for 3 weeks....I will be taking some flavors that they don't have and hopefully bringing some new ones home!


How does SodaStream work?  It’s simple!  You fill up the plastic bottle with tap water up to the FILL LINE.  Then you thread the bottle onto the machine and press until you hear it buzz.  By pressing the button, you are carbonating the water. This was my daughter Rose's favorite part!  The average fizz takes 3 buzzes.  Unthread the bottle and add your favorite tasting syrup. Our first flavor we tried was the lemon-lime flavor (aka Sprite).




Honestly, we couldn't tell the difference! I even tried a taste test challenge with my daughter using Sprite and our SodaStream's Lemon-Lime Soda - she said they tasted the same - and I agree!  There are currently 55 different Soda flavors, Juice flavors & MyWater Flavored essences (similar to MiO) to choose from.  Or you can drink the water without syrup, just like Sparkling Water!  My family and I love SodaStream and am sure you will too!

Above is the amazing kit we got from SodaStream to give our honest review on. I like the fact that I can get the flavors at my local grocery store but more exciting to me is that I can purchase them at Staples (which with the $2 recycling credit per ink cartridge - limit 10/month - that is a potential of $20 worth of SodaStream flavors I can get free a month)!
