Made in Michigan: Scotty O'Hotty Hot Sauce Review and Giveaway




In our continued support of local Michigan businesses, we were excited to make the acquaintance of Scotty and Suzi Owens, owners of Scotty O'Hotty's Gourmet Hot Sauces.

I loved reading the story of the Owens family and how their business started including how they involved their children in the process as well - I love that. It truly is a family business! You can read more about the Owens family journey to create Scotty O'Hotty HERE (Scroll to bottom to read).

Scotty O'Hotty sent us three of their gourmet hot sauces to test out and review. We received their Mild (Premium Pepper), Hot (Premium Habanero) and XXX Hot (The Ghost Sauce) sauces to review.

These sauces are packed with flavor and the heat scale is as described on the bottles! I think my heat tolerance stopped at the HOT sauce - the Ghost sauce is definitely for those who have hot sauce flowing in their veins! I plan on picking up some for my father in law for Christmas because it right up his alley! I thought it was interesting that all 3 sauces contain beer - you can taste it's subtle taste in addition to the peppers - it's fabulous!

    I dont eat hot sauce but would love to win this for my boys, my oldest son who is 19 in the Army in Korea LOVES hot stuff. as does his younger brother, they are always trying o top their dad.
