SmartLab Toys: "That's Gross Science Lab" Review

“The featured product was provided free of charge to facilitate my review, but all opinions are 100% the opinion of the Coupon Savvy Sarah family.”

Rose loves to be creative, do experiments and hands-on projects so when I heard about SmartLab Toys and their fun kits for kids - I knew Rose would love them!

SmartLab Toys makes educational toys with a book component for kids ages 4 - 12.  They believe that kids learn best through hands-on exploration, so they offer that experience wrapped up in a fun toy and a cool book. Their roster of award-winning toys now stands at nearly 50 products that stimulate both sides of the brain.

Rose chose the "That's Gross Science Lab" (no surprise) to do a review on. She thought it sounded cool and was hoping she could create some fun experiments! The That's Gross Science Lab features a motorized toilet bowl mixer with real flushing sounds and a gross-tastic lab book packed with 26 super gross experiments - including "Foaming Flush," "Snot Slime," "Potty Putty," and "Stink Bubbles" - the gross-out fun will last for hours!

Rose chose to make Yummy Blood as her first experiment which basically consists of cornstarch, water, red food coloring, chocolate syrup and corn syrup. She loved it so much - her and her best friend demonstrated how to make it for a class project last month and they got an A on it!

She also made Naked Egg which involved taking an uncooked egg and soaking in vinegar and it dissolved the shell and you could see through the egg! Warning - the egg will bust so handle with care *wink*! She absolutely loved the kit and can't wait to explore more projects in her book!

SmartLab Toys feature a wide variety of kits including Science, Human Body, Spa Lab, Cars, Mystery, Fashion and more! SmartLab Toys' Kits are available on their website or you can purchase the kits online at Amazon. Plus if you sign up for their email newsletter on the home page of their website - you get 25% off your next purchase!
