Witches Of East End happens to be one of my favorite new shows! Catching up with this DVD of Season 1 was great! I originally wanted to watch the show because of Julia Ormond. I've been a big fan of hers for a while (Legends of the Fall, anyone?). Her addition to the show put it together as a whole. I also love Mädchen Amick's character Wendy - she brings a comical side to the show with her wit and sarcasm. 10 Episodes was way to short for Season 1 so I'm glad Season 2 was extended with 13 episodes! My only complaint is Julia Ormond's accent or lack thereof within the show. She speaks with her British accent is most every role I have seen her and in this series - I am not 100% sure what accent she is trying to pull off, but I find it a bit distracting. I still think she is an amazing actress nonetheless!
