Wound Care Tips from Johnson & Johnson

This post is sponsored by Lunchbox. All thoughts and opinions belong to Coupon Savvy Sarah.

My husband and daughter are both very active in Tang Soo Do karate and with that comes bumps, bruises, cuts and more! Plus I have been known to get a some minor scrapes and injuries while working out at the gym (call me clumsy)!

Be Prepared for Wound Care at #JNJWoundCare:

At the Johnson & Johnson Wound Care page you’ll find detailed information on how to care for wounds (both minor and even post-surgery) and which products to use for each type of wound. The post-surgery information was a really interesting read for me because I think had I read this 20 years ago when I was 18 and had major abdominal surgery to remove my large intestine, I just might have avoided some of the additional scarring and discomfort from the surgery and colostomy bag that I had temporarily.

There are several informational home-care videos towards the bottom of the page addressing everything from dressing a joint to infection symptoms. I love that they show you all of the Johnson & Johnson products available so you can decide which ones you need in your First Aid Kit. Over the years I have found that I have some issues with the adhesives used in certain bandages that cause me to break into a rash so this website is a huge wealth of knowledge to educate myself on which products I can use for myself.

The page is really great site to bookmark because it’s a great resource when unexpected bumps, bruises and minor accidents happen and you want to know what is best to heal your family and get them happy and active again.
