My husband and I really enjoy drinking hot beverages including coffees and different varieties of teas. I was first introduced to tea when I was around 11 years old (Orange Pekoe) in tea bags and it wasn't until I was an adult that I started realizing there is a whole world of tea outside of the bags you can get at the grocery store! I was very excited to broaden our tea horizon by working with EnjoyingTea.com on a review of some of their loose tea samplers.
Over the years, we have used metal tea filters for steeping loose teas; however, this past Christmas we gave my husband a cool ceramic mug with a lid and a metal filter that is removable for steeping loose teas and then taking the mug on the road with him! EnjoyingTea.com has a great selection of tea cups, mugs, pots and all the necessary accessories for brewing your teas.
After days (I mean days....) of deliberation we finally compromised on trying two loose tea samplers: The Oolong Tea Sampler and The Specialty Tea Sampler. EnjoyingTea.com has such an extensive selection of teas - you could spend quite some time exploring and trying them all out!
With both samplers, I really like that they came packaged in little metal tins with a sticker seal on them and they are all clearly labeled. We have ordered teas before that have come in plastic, non-resealable bags which leaves you scrambling to find a place to store all of the different teas and that isn't very practical. EnjoyingTea.com has their teas packaged perfectly!
One thing my husband and I learned through sampling all 16 of these loose teas is to not judge a tea by it's appearance or smell. There were a few teas that we encountered where the appearance isn't what we were used to or the smell was not very enticing.....but after brewing them - WOW! The taste was amazing - it's like the saying goes, "Don't judge a book by it's cover" - the same goes for teas! We are definitely looking forward to exploring more of the varieties of tea that EnjoyingTea.com has to offer us.
EnjoyingTea.com has quite a few special offers available on their website - you can check them out here.
