McFarland USA Movie Synopsis:
This heartwarming drama follows novice runners who strive to build a cross-country team under Coach Jim White (Kevin Costner) in their predominantly Latino high school. Everyone has a lot to learn about each other, but when Coach realizes the boys’ exceptional running ability, things change. Beyond their talent, it’s the power of family, commitment to each other and work ethic that transform them into champions — helping them achieve their own American dream.
Our Thoughts:
McFarland USA is not another "sports" movie as the trailer may lead you to believe. McFarland USA is about relationships and challenging people to help them achieve more in life. Disney did an outstanding job developing the characters in and throughout this film. This is a classic that everyone should to see!
McFarland USA will be available to purchase in different formats on June 2, 2015 at most major retailers nationwide in addition to online at Amazon. I highly suggest adding this movie to your film collection!
