Lately I have been hearing my husband and my father grumbling about needing new wallets. Both their wallets are over 3 years old with plenty of use during that time! So that got me thinking about getting them each a new wallet for Father's Day. I like practical gifts like that - something that you need and can actually use.
Allett Wallets caught my eye for several reasons. Their products are made in the USA plus some of their men's and women's wallets feature RFID (radio frequency identification) blocking lining. I have to say I really love the catchy slogan on their wallet boxes - "End Wallet Butt." This cracks me up because I always tease my husband about the wallet butt!
Allett Wallets are the "Original Slim Wallet" and as I mentioned above, they have men's and women's styles and they come in classic leather or SoftTech nylon in a variety of colors. They even offer free shipping for domestic orders.
I received two similar wallets to review. They both are classic leather but one of them contains the RFID blocking alloy lining to help protect your identity. Here is a little more information about each of the wallets:

tech-savvy thief; this wallet is lined with an alloy which blocks
incoming radio frequencies. Created with style and comfort in mind, this

- Clear ID pocket
- Holds up to 12 cards
- Divided cash pocket
- Made of top quality Napa leather with a SoftTech nylon interior
- The thin layers of leather and nylon combined creates the perfect balance for an optimally performing wallet
- Noted for its soft supple feel and lasting durability; rather than wearing out, Napa leather develops a patina over time

- The SoftTech nylon interior wicks away moisture for dual moisture protection
- Comfortable to carry in the front or back pocket
- Weight is 0.9 ounces
- Dimensions: 3 3/4" x 3 7/8" x ¼”
Our Thoughts:
Both the wallets are very thin and lightweight so they didn't leave a "wallet butt." The leather is really soft and both my husband and dad were able to fit most of their cards in the wallet. One thing both of them missed with their old wallets that wasn't in these two wallets was the coin holder (which is probably what created some of the bulkiness with their old wallets). These wallets are very sharp and neither of the guys missed that extra bulkiness when sitting down or walking around weighing down their pockets.
If you are looking for a practical Father's Day gift - or even birthday, graduation, stocking stuffers, etc - I would suggest heading over the Allett's website and checking out their line of men's and women's wallets. Don't forget you get Free Shipping on all domestic orders and their entire line of products are made right here in the United States!

Lol... I love that you didn't have "wallet butt". Seriously though.. that's really important. My husband is always taking his wallet out if we're in the car for more than a few minutes because it's uncomfortable.
