My entire family consists of cheesecake fanatics! My father is well-known for baking some really unique cheesecakes like a Banana Split Cheesecake or a Fuzzy Navel Cheesecake. My specialty cheesecake that I make is a Bavarian Apple Cheesecake. We are no strangers to cheesecake being the star of our dessert table for the holidays, any special occasion year-round or even for no reason at all - after all, you shouldn't need a holiday or occasion for cheesecake!

Blackberry Sour Cream Cheesecake

My decadent cheesecake arrived frozen with the dry ice still in place - I was able to place it straight in my freezer until I am ready to serve it. When I was ready to thaw the cheesecake, I just placed it overnight in the refrigerator or at room temperature for up to 2 hours. Once thawed, it can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 5 days (that is if you have any left which we didn't!).

My brother and family were in from out of town so we brought out our Blackberry Sour Cream Cheesecake for everyone to enjoy and it didn't disappoint. There were 2 pieces left which my dad enjoyed the next day. Even the little ones loved it (one had two pieces). It was such a unique choice of fruit on top so I am really glad we chose it to try - it was amazing!
