The Michigan Renaissance Festival is open every weekend through the beginning of October in Holly, Michigan and there are only a few weekends left in this season so don't miss out on the fun! This weekend (9/17-9/18) join in the festivities with their Shamrocks and Shenanigans themed weekend. We love attending this festival as a family (and even sneaking away as a couple) and it draws large crowds from throughout Michigan and out of state!
The remaining weekend themes are:
- Shamrock & Shenanigans (9/17-9/18)
- Harvest Huzzah (9/24-9/25)
- Festival Friday (9/30) & Sweet Endings (10/1-10/2)
We have been attending the Renaissance Festival for over 20 years and they are always adding new foods, vendors, shows and attractions to the event. Some of the newer popular event attractions are Feast of Fantasy, Renaissance Romance, King's Happy Hour, Pub Crawl, Once Upon a Tea Time, Pig 'N Swig (gourmet bacon and beer tasting - this was a fun event!) and even a special Ladies Shopping Day.
The Michigan Renaissance has also added these cool events and competitions:
All New LEGO Competition they will be holding each weekend of the festival (details here).
New! Gears, Gadgets & Glam: A Steampunk Cocktail Party (details here - this will sell out so book now if interested) and also the ever popular Masquerade Ball (21 and Older) - Details here (this sells out too so book your tickets now if interested)
You can purchase tickets directly from the Michigan Renaissance Festival's website here or you can purchase discounted tickets at local retailers like Kroger, Menards, Walgreens and Goodwill.
