TEAM Schostak Family Restaurants, a Michigan-based family-owned restaurant group with an expansive portfolio of casual, quick service and family dining restaurants throughout the state, has been celebrating the start of another school year by offering its guests at MOD Pizza a free mini pizza with any purchase between 3 pm - 6 pm every Monday in September at all five of its metro Detroit restaurants.
To kick off the start of the 2016-17 school year with local students and their families, the special offer started on Labor Day, September 5 and takes place every Monday through September 26. The offer is valid at all Michigan MOD locations, including Livonia, Northville, Rochester Hills, Brighton and Woodhaven.
“At MOD, we are known for creating a positive ripple effect in the communities we serve, and this campaign is just another way in which we are ‘Spreading MODness’ and engaging with community members in a unique and inspired way,” said Schostak. “Our guests love MOD for the convenience and high-quality food we offer. With the start of a new school year often being a busy time for families, it’s our hope that this special giveaway makes transitions back into a routine fun and easy.” - TSFR MOD Pizza Brand Leader Jake Schostak
MOD's individual artisan-style pizzas are made on demand, allowing customers to create their own pizzas and salads, using fresh-pressed dough, signature sauces and over 30 toppings, for one price. Each pizza is hand-cooked in an 800-degree oven in five minutes or less, and salads are hand-tossed in front of the customer. MOD Pizza also serves local draft beers, wine, handspun milkshakes and house-made lemonades and iced teas.
In late 2014, TSFR announced its plans to launch 25 MOD Pizza locations in Michigan over the next five years. TSFR opened its first five MOD Pizza locations last year in Livonia, Northville, Rochester Hills, Woodhaven and Brighton, with three more locations underway—23 Mile and Gratiot in Chesterfield, Ford Road in Canton and 23 Mile and Hayes in Shelby Township.
