It was announced recently at D23 Expo that one of the biggest animated films in history — “The Lion King” — joins the highly celebrated Walt Disney Signature Collection. The coming-of-age masterpiece, filled with humor and heart, breathtaking animation and soul-stirring Academy Award®–winning music (1994: Best Original Score and Best Original Song, “Can You Feel the Love Tonight”), arrived on Digital on Aug. 15 and on Blu-ray and DVD on Aug. 29. I remember watching The Lion King the year I graduated high school. I loved it then and I love it even more now as a parent rewatching it with her teenage daughter who is slowly coming of age and learning life's lessons. The bonus features like the sing a long version were so cute - my nieces loved them (And yes I may have sang along too - Hakuna Matata and all). If you don't already have The Lion King in your movie library - I highly suggest buying it now with all the special bonus features that come with it!
