The annual Michigan Renaissance Festival is just around the corner in Holly, Michigan and we can't wait. We love attending this festival as a family (and even sneaking away as a couple) and it draws large crowds from throughout Michigan and out of state!
This year's weekend themes are:
- Royal Pet & Ale Fest (8/18-8/19)
- Highland Fling (8/25-8/26)
- High Seas Adventure (9/1-9/3 - Labor Day Weekend)
- Wonders of the World (9/8-9/9)
- Shamrock & Shenanigans (9/15-9/16)
- Harvest Huzzah (9/22-9/23)
- Festival Friday (9/28) & Sweet Endings (9/29-9/30)
We have been attending the Renaissance Festival for over 20 years and they are always adding new foods, vendors, shows and attractions to the event. Some of the newer popular event attractions are Feast of Fantasy, Renaissance Romance, King's Happy Hour, Pub Crawl, Royal High Tea, Magic Quest, Pig 'N Swig (this year featuring gourmet bacon, whiskey and bourbon tasting!) and even a special Ladies Shopping Day.
Interested in checking out the Festival? You can purchase tickets on their website here in addition to discounted tickets at local retailers like Kroger, Menards, Walgreens, Goodwill and many other retailers. I highly suggest purchasing your tickets for any of the special events right away because they sell out fast!
