Symbiote Secrets reveals Easter Eggs and hidden references in the film Other bonus materials include multiple pre-visualization versions of some of your favorite scenes, Eminem’s incredible video for his hit song “Venom,” “Sunflower” from Post Malone and Swae-Lee (from Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), and an early sneak peek at Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
VENOM tells the evolution story of Marvel’s most enigmatic, complex and badass character Venom! Eddie Brock (Tom Hardy) is a broken man after he loses everything including his job and fiancée. Just when his life is at its lowest, he becomes host to an alien symbiote which results in extraordinary superpowers - transforming him into Venom. Will these powers be enough for this new lethal protector to defeat great evil forces, especially against the far stronger and more weaponized symbiote rival, Riot?
Our Thoughts on VENOM:
I know the critics were harsh with the movie but I know most of us moviegoers actually liked the movie! I think it is because the story is simple to follow and the main characters are likable - plus, unlike other films in recent years, it doesn't try to beat messages into the audience's heads. I think the main reason we really loved the movie is because both main characters are just really fun to watch. Eddie and Venom form basically a buddy cop movie, with two different personalities clashing and being forced to work together. Yes, you might find some plot holes in the movie but if you are looking to relax and have fun watching a movie - this is the one. We really loved the bonus features on the Blu-ray - especially the sneak peek at Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and the deleted and extended scenes.
