DIY Gift Idea: Homemade Bubble Bath Recipe (Three Ingredients!)

Looking for a quick and thoughtful gift idea with ingredients you already have in your cupboards? My Homemade Bubble Bath recipe will delight the recipient and yield tons of bubbles! Why not double the batch and save some for yourself?

Homemade Bubble Bath

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup shampoo (I used a lavender-scented baby shampoo)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 tsp salt

Mix all ingredients until you get a gel and place in sealed container until use. To create your perfect bubble bath, just squirt the gel mixture into your running water and stir it up with your hands since the water won't break up the gel mixture without a little help. Relax and enjoy!

I used a lavender scented shampoo for the soothing scent, but you can use any shampoo you have on hand or prefer. I found a pump dispenser at the dollar store that would make it convenient to add to your bath; I purchased a loofah as well to make this an inexpensive gift for someone!
