With Summer break just around the corner, I love having craft kits, books and activities handy to keep Rose busy and to avoid the dreaded Summer-boredom conundrum. I was super excited to work with Thunder Bay Press again this year to review some awesome crochet kits. Prior to last year, neither Rose nor myself knew how to crochet so the kits were very helpful with their step by step instructions.

Thunder Bay Press has two newer Disney crochet kits out that have the Disney Frozen and Disney Princesses theme.

About the Disney Princesses Crochet Kit:
Create 12 of Disney's most enchanting characters! A full-color, 76-page instruction book with detailed patterns and colorful photos will guide you from "once upon a time" to "happily ever after" using your yarn and hook. To start you off, the kit includes all the materials needed to create Cinderella and Ariel. Each Disney princess is sure to be a treasured part of any crochet collection!

Our Thoughts:
The great thing about these kits is that everything is included in them to make two characters plus instructions on how to create more characters (you would just need to get the yarn for them). This makes it the perfect craft to take anywhere to work on it, including a summer trip because you know the kids get bored even then! Crocheting can be a relaxing craft when you get the hang of it. The step-by-step instructions are amazing and clear which is great for us "first-timers." Rose and I both found it easy to follow along while we took turns working on our favorite characters. Getting the needles just right in our uncoordinated hands is another story but it definitely teaches one to be patient in order to get it right! These kits are really cool and I love the huge assortment of other themed kits available!!!!

Check out these super cute kits, plus all other varieties available such as Star Wars, Wizard of Oz, Peanuts and more - you can find them all online at Amazon from Thunder Bay Press.
