Did you know that April is National Volunteer Month? Chuck E. Cheese’s knows the importance of giving back and helping others! For the month of April, Chuck E. Cheese's nationwide are hosting a donation drive where families can donate $1, $5 or any amount of their choice to help Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) match “Littles” with “Big” mentors.
When kids donate, they get to write their name on a Pin-Up ticket and stick it on the wall to show their support. This is a fantastic way to teach our kids and grand-kids about helping others, volunteering and making a difference.
Our daughter Rose is 13 and this past November was her 7th year donating all her birthday gifts to our local Toys for Tots organization because she wanted to make a difference in children's lives. She has even volunteered at the Toys for Tots warehouse to help sort and pack up gifts for kids whose families need a little extra help around the holidays. It is important to teach our kids about helping others at a young age because they are our future. I am so happy that their are organizations like Big Brothers Big Sisters to match up caring and compassionate adults with younger kids to help mentor them.
Come celebrate Little Big Night Out at any Chuck E. Cheese’s location on 3/31/16. Mention Big Brothers Big Sisters and 15% of your sale will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters. My family and I will be there in support of this great partnership (plus the pizza and salad bar is fantastic so it's a night off cooking for me!).
Show your ongoing support by donating to Big Brothers Big Sisters at any Chuck E. Cheese’s location 3/31/16-4/30/16 to help match Littles with Bigs and provide lifelong mentorship for positive change.
In addition to super fun birthday parties and group events, did you know that you can host a Fundraiser at Chuck E. Cheese's to help support and earn money for your school or non-profit 501(c)3 organization? Get all the details here!
